Hello friends what's up it's me anime news from www.animenews.in. so today we are going to talk about jujutsu Kaisen. the first season of the jujutsu Kaisen and was released in the fall of last year and now the fans are desperately waiting for the second season of this anime even though just after the release of the final episode we got an announcement for a movie we didn't hear anything about a new season and the release date for the movie but today we have got some huge updates from the juju's 2021 event which was held tonight in japan at the event they have announced that the new movie Jujutsu Kaisen in zero will premiere in Japanese theaters on the 24th of December of this year it's a huge Christmas
present for the Japanese fans but sadly they didn't mention anything about the international release so the fans from the other countries will probably have to wait a little longer to see the movie in a theater anyway they have also revealed a new key visual for the movie in case you don't know there is already a teaser trailer for it which was revealed during the announcement for the movie the movie will cover volume number zero from the manga fans should definitely watch this movie as it is not a spin-off it is actually a prick well of jujutsu Kaisen which focuses on yuto akatsu who is one of the previous students of Gojo sensei the wave is media describe the story for the movie is yudakatsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem his childhood friend drikka has turned into a curse and won't leave him alone since rika is no ordinary curse his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo a teacher at jujutsu high a school where
fledgling exorcists learn how to combat curses Gojo convinces yuda to enroll but can he learn enough in time to confront the curse that haunts him so that's how the story begins now talking about season two it still hasn't been officially announced yet but it is obvious that we will be getting the second season in the future the last frame of the final episode of first the season even said the sentence to be continued and there's already enough source material available from the manga which can be used for a new season both the manga and the blu-ray DVDs of this series are just having record-breaking sales you won't believe it but the manga has just recently exceeded 40 million circulating copies and the blue-ray sale of the anime is just totally insane the first volume of the Blu-ray DVD sold more than all the four seasons of my hero academia combined it even won the Crunchyroll anime of the year 2021 so it's pretty much obvious that the second season of this anime will happen in the future but about the release date it's going to be really tough to predict it accurately I don't think we will get season 2 before the movie gets released fully everywhere so don't expect a second season to release anytime soon at least not in 2021, the experts are predicting that season two of this anime will probably release in either mid-2022 or maybe in late 2022 but still it is just a prediction as nothing has been officially confirmed yet we also have to take into consideration whether Mapa studio will be available or not for the production attack on titan final season part 2 is coming in winter 2022 then there's a new anime coming chainsaw man which is also going to be produced by mapa studio Mapa is working on some projects with Netflix too so it seems like they are going to have a little busy schedule in the upcoming days as the production for all of them needs to be done way earlier than the actual release date anyway as soon as I get any new updates.
